Adrian Melvin is an experienced piper and reed maker. Born in Dundee, Scotland, he began learning bagpipes at the age of 13 years from his father, P/M Kenneth Melvin. He has won notable prizes as a solo piper and as a member of Victoria Police Pipe Band, he won the world pipe band championships in 1998. 

The reeds are suitable for both solo and band performance and produce an excellent tone in our range of pipe chanters. Melvin reeds are currently played by Scottish Power Pipe Band, Grade 1.
